Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK 2.41 Resolves Module Assembly Conflicts

Microsoft has released version 2.41 of the Graph PowerShell SDK, fixing long-standing dependency issues that prevented it from running alongside other Microsoft 365 modules.

Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK version 2.41 fixes an assembly conflict that caused errors when loading the module into the same PowerShell session as other Microsoft 365 modules like Exchange Online or Teams.

Microsoft engineering teams worked for 18 months on the SDK assembly dependencies before integrating a workaround identified by MVP Stephen van Rooij. Fixing these dependencies lets the SDK run alongside other management modules in one environment.

Version 2.41 still has problems on older PowerShell V7 versions, affecting Azure Automation runtime environments using those configurations.

You can now consolidate administrative scripts that need simultaneous connectivity across multiple Microsoft 365 services without session-splitting.
