AlmaLinux Atomic SIG Updates Image Building Infrastructure to Support Live ISOs

The AlmaLinux Atomic SIG has transitioned to the latest bootc tooling, enabling the creation of live-bootable ISOs and adding support for the aarch64 architecture.

AlmaLinux Atomic Special Interest Group updated its image building infrastructure to use the latest tooling from the bootc community.

You can now build ISO files that boot directly into a live session. Furthermore, the development team expanded hardware support by introducing ISO availability for the aarch64 architecture.

The update replaces the initial toolset used when the project launched last year. These changes modify the underlying plumbing of image creation to match upstream bootc progress.
